Like I said before, this month I’m only talking about LGBT books!! So of course it’s natural I put together a reading list of some kind, specifically for the occasion. I have no doubt in my mind that I won’t read all those books this month. I’ll be lucky if I read like half! But it’s important to set goals for yourself, right? And anyway, the idea is that in June I will read books only from this list! We’ll see how that goes…
There’s also a little bit of everything on here, to keep things interesting. We have poetry, we have nonfiction, we have young adult contemporaries, fantasy, science-fiction, we have adult fiction… I tried to put some diversity here as well, so it’s not all just books by white American authors about m/m ships.
Some other points about the list before we actually start it:
- all the books listed here have lgbt leads
- all the books are written by lgbt authors
- (though they’re not always ownvoices for the specific rep)
- I haven’t read any of those books myself yet
- the books are in no particular order
Okay, I think we can do this now.

To be honest with you, I was actually getting ready to write a wrap-up post for March. But at the last possible minute realised that wait… today is a Sunday!! And we all know what Sundays mean on my blog!
So here we are then.
To be even more honest, though, I barely have two books today. I guess you might say I got into a little bit of a reading slump?? IDK it wasn’t the greatest week for me, reading-wise… But then books I did read? Both amazing!

I don’t know where the time went, but we’re already two weeks into the bingo!! I haven’t read as many books as I could have for it so far, but I definitely read more than I would without this idea! So it was totally worth it. :>>
And we still have over two weeks left so you can still start playing with us if you want! You can read all the details in my previous posts here and here.
So now for the books I’ve read so far!! I managed to finish four but I still didn’t get a single bingo… I’m currently reading an ARC of Running With Lions by Julian Winters though and when I’m done, it will put me one book away from the first full line!
I’m also doing this update as a twitter thread & there I list all the squares a book could count for in case anyone’s interested in the tropes. But here I’m gonna focus on what I’ll actually put the books down for!
