I have so much love for this book, I’m not even sure where to start. Let’s just make a list and get through it step by step.
1) The writing style is really cool. It’s first person pov, which I know isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but it works perfectly here. It’s clear that Montgomery knows how teenagers think, so it’s never awkward in that particular way only some YA books can be. Instead, it’s fresh & funny & casual. It’s like hanging out with a friend, basically. And then you get treated with a beautiful sentence here and there & it becomes magical.

I watched How to Train Your Dragon 3 today and I cried so much, I deserve something easier to deal with now. Which made writing this post a perfect idea. Very relaxing, not gonna lie. The only downside is, it reminded me how many books I’m excited about in March!
Ugh, I hate waiting…
One of the books listed here today I already mentioned in my post about January-June 2019 diverse releases, but oh boy, I had so many more to talk about!
As always, I also want to remind you guys that Charlotte & I have a blog called Reads Rainbow that is dedicated solely to LGBT media. So check out this March releases post over there as well – it’s only for books coming in the first week, because there are just Too Many to fit in one post!!

I’m a lesbian, I’m in Paris, this is a perfect opportunity for me to talk about books that have lesbian protagonists! Nah, I’m joking, every day is a good opportunity for that…
I mean, as someone who co-runs a blog specifically dedicated to LGBT media… Did y’all expect anything else from me? But yeah, check out Reads Rainbow, if you still haven’t! Charlotte just posted a rec list of novellas!
Today’s list is seven books long again. I was trying to decide which books to rec and which to leave out & then I realised: this is my blog! those are lesbians! Of course I should rec every single one I want to.
Hopefully everyone will find something for themself here, since we have contemporary, fantasy, science-fiction… Even one new adult book! Don’t tell me I’m not great at rec lists.

I’m in Paris (!!!) but that’s no reason for me not to talk about all the amazing books coming out next month! I mean, you can pre-order them no matter where I am…
Some of those titles I already mentioned in my post about January-June 2019 diverse releases, but there is going to be so many more here!! This time I don’t have to choose just two books, to make a list at least a little bit managable…
And keep in mind, not everything I’m excited about is going to be featured on this list – some of those books I talk about over at Reads Rainbow! So check out my February releases list there as well for more LGBT content!!
And now, February books that I’m most excited about! 🍑🍑🍑
