Waiting for: November 2019

I changed my theme! How do you guys like it? I’m lowkey in love.

It doesn’t look like my list of November releases is very long but the truth is, those are the books I’ve been waiting for almost all year. So it’s really great that November start in two days, but also: how on earth is it already the end of October? Where did the year go?

Anyway, books-wise, November is shaping up to be pretty amazing! Also, if you want to learn about more LGBT books being published next month, check out our post @ Reads Rainbow.

Monthly wrap-up: September 2019

So it’s the middle of the month, so what! Every day is a good time to make a wrap-up post! Don’t shame me! And anyway, I’m barely aware what day of the month it is because I had the last three weeks off work… It does feel like summer break for students, it really does.

I read a lot in September, to be honest! And so far almost nothing in October, but we’re not gonna talk about that.

Monthly wrap-up: May-August 2019

There comes a time in one’s life, when you have to look at your book blog and think to yourself: wow, I haven’t posted a wrap-up in months! And then you realise the only way to come out of the situation with any dignity at all, is to make one post for all the months you missed.

So this is technically a monthly wrap-up. But it’s actually more like a quarterly wrap-up. And actually, I’m only gonna list the books I rated 4 or 5 stars (peaches!).

Monthly wrap-up: April 2019

Well, if I’m doing a wrap-up post for April, the first thing I should mention is: I moved last week! It’s been whole eight days, to be exact, because I moved on a Saturday. We were renovating a flat for me for ages, since my father and uncle did all the work themselves and they only had time after their day jobs. But hey, who cares, right? The important part is that they are finished & I have a whole beautiful flat for myself!

Also, head over to my twitter for some pics!

I had to finally change my twitter bio as well, because up until now it just said “a book blogger with no bookshelves”. But I have a bookcase now! I even arranged my books on it last night!

Anyway, let’s talk about the books I’ve read last month! And yes, before you ask, I am still doing my monthly reread of Crush.

Diverse Reads & To Be Reads of the Week #20

The title says “of the week”, but I keep making one post like this a month… God, I’m pretty sure all I do on this blog is complaining about how little I read these days… It’s just really tragic, okay? Last week I had to trick myself with some trashy new adult romance books, just so I would finally finish a book. ://

This week was better, though. I actually read some great stuff! And two books that I had on my TBR for basically years. 😮 So that’s gotta count for something, right?

Just please keep your fingers crossed for me that I won’t forget how to read again next week…

So you’re in the mood for friends to lovers trope

I know we all know enemies to lovers trope is the biggest blessing that can fall upon a reader but actually, friends to lovers is right there on the podium with it.  Which is why I’m here today with a list of books that feature friends turned lovers.

Plus, I already covered enemies to lovers recently. (With only gay books at that.)

So guys, this really doesn’t need any further introduction, does it? Let’s just sit back and enjoy!
